Dr.
Nicolle Miller was originally from Whittier, California.
She graduated from UC Irvine with honors and a Bachelor of
Science degree in Biology. While at UC Irvine, she researched
the use of laser technology and fluorescence in the early
detection of oral cancer. Dr. Miller obtained her Doctorate
of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry,
where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the
Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. She
served as the dental school class president her third and
fourth years.
Following
her graduation from dental school, Dr. Miller was commissioned
as an officer in the United States Navy. While in active duty,
she completed a General Practice Residency at the Naval Medical
Center, San Diego. She then went on to serve as the dental
officer on board the USS OGDEN (LPD-5) for over two years.
After her sea duty, she practiced general dentistry at the
Branch Dental Clinic in San Diego, completing her active duty
commitment.
Dr.
Miller, now a civilian, currently resides near Mission Bay
in San Diego.
